BLACK OAK LAKE FIFTY YEAR AWARD PROGRAM

This program is designed to acknowledge those who have accumulated a long history at Black Oak Lake. The lapel pin pictured here is awarded to those who fulfill the requirements below

You must have spent at least one night on a Black Oak Lake property in each of fifty calendar years. The years need not be consecutive.

A pre-birth visit while being carried by your mother does not count

No credit is given for marrying a longer term person.

Property ownership is not required.

The program director (currently Jim Surpless) receives your statement of eligibility and awards the pins. His contact information is in the directory. The honor system is used here. There is no charge for the award. 80 awardees as of July, 2010, are:
